Week of May 24, 2010

Thanks to the parents who chaperoned our field trip to the Bear Mountain

Butterfly Sanctuary. All had a wonderful time!

Field Day will be Tuesday, 5/25 at the field. Please remember to wear your gym shorts and Field Day T-shirt or school t-shirt.

Also please bring a water bottle and bring/wear sunscreen.

This is the last week of ancillary classes.

Monday 5/31 is Memorial Day therefore there is no school.

The tentative academic agenda for the week is as follows:

Math- concluding Chapter 10 Decimals

Chapter Test Friday- May 28

Spelling – working on Lesson 35

Reading- beginning Unit 6 Express Yourself

Focused skill- visualizing, Story selection- Koya’s Cousin Del

English- Vocabulary Workshop working on Unit 7

Religion- working on Chapter 15- Live in Truth

Test Friday-5/28

Science- continuing Unit D, Chapter 2- Keeping the Body Systems Healthy

Social Studies- continuing Chapter 3- Early Land and People
